Larrakia Nation is hosting the “Countryman’s Concert” on July 6th, at Frog Hollow Park.
There will be performers from Ramingining, Galiwin’ku, Milingimbi, Maningrida and Bulman. This will be largest Aboriginal performance event in Darwin since the “Sing Loud, Play Strong” event in 1989. It is also the first time the Larrakia have formally invited peoples of other nations onto their land to take part in a shared celebration with the theme “Alive and Well”. This is a non profit event - family-focussed, alcohol free, expecting a crowd of more than 2,500 from 5pm till 10pm.
